Off With Their Heads

Here's a little bit of Rocketboys trivia: one of my childhood, and all time, books is Lewis Carroll's 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' and 'Alice Through the Looking Glass'.

So this look is my take on the timeless villain, The Queen of Hearts. 

This came about when I was pondering; "why the Queen of Hearts is so obsessed with beheading her enemies?" And so, I thought I'd do a twist on the infamous character.
She was falsely convicted of treason, was tried and beheaded. However her head was stitched back on and reattached (it's Wonderland; don't question the realism). She has returned to her throne; Resentful, scornful and villainous. And now sentences anyone who undermines her to a beheading as not only a way to keep her subjects in place, but also as a sort of poetic justice, so to speak.

I love mixing gore with beauty; and saw this as the perfect opportunity. Yes my outfit isn't great, however I am not a cosplayer and I have never had a Queen of Hearts costume, so I made do with what I had. And yes, I know I need a haircut.
